When I checked Omaha office trend chart, they updated till Feb 2013. Does it mean they are now working for the files which were transferred on March 2013?

No.

It means that's what they did in february.

Has nothing to do with when people filed.

But it looks like you shouldn't still be waiting.

Thank you, KDH. He will make infopass appointment at local office to ask for this. Hope it will be approved soon.

I am glad that your case was completed and wishing you all the best for interview.

So a few hours ago, I went to my info pass appointment with USCIS, cause it's been over 5months since i heard anything about my case. Well my appointment was in DC (fairfax city), but yeah went there (got complimented on my toe) lol weird! but any who their was no wait b/c of the time i went. Well as soon as i got my ticket it was called and went to the window 8 the lady was very sincere and ask me what i was here for and i told her that i needed to know what was going with my case and she said ok she will check when it was delivered to there office and well she said that in june i should expect an interview and so the waits continue, but at least i know when i will be expecting and an interview and she also made me write down on a piece of paper to keep for their records what i came here for and so on so forth. She told me if i was to travel to make sure to get another info pass appointment to let them know. But she was nice and very understanding and i have a feeling that my interview date might be earlier...*praying that it does happen*

Our I-130 is in process for 5 months today. The status in the website shows "initial review" for 5 months. Shall we ask service request or info pass at local USCIS office? Kindly advise. Thank you.

Today is our 5th month. I feel a little better knowing I'm not alone. I'm consistently think of stuff like what if they lost our packet. Last time I called they told me not to call back until after 9 months if not approved

We got ours in 5 months. 2 days after I called USCIS and told me not to call after 9months. I'm sure yours will come in matter of days.

9 months???? Bunch of lies from USCIS. You should immediately contact your congressman and start pushing things. I went to my congressman office on last Thursday, on Friday USCIS sent me letter asking to resubmit form G-325A again. You should also visit your local office. I went there twice and it was helpful.

You're from Atlanta, so honestly, you have bigger problems than contacting your congressman.

By all means, go ahead, but it will do nothing.

Here's the thread you really belong in:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/397450-atlanta-transferrers/

9 months is very probable.

Quick recap of ATL:

Everyone's be waiting.

Virtually no one has been approved.

Everyone has contacted their congressman.

Everyone's still waiting.

No one is being approved.

My local office is Atlanta, but our file is in Missouri (NBC) it's been there from the beginning. Except for its arrival at the Chicago lock box. It went to the NBC almost immediately.

If you've been waiting this long.

Your file is in Atlanta.

Everyone's gets transferred to NBC since August 15th.

Then they typically get transferred to your local office.

I called uscis last week they said it's still in Missouri. How do I find out for sure where it is at?

My husband will make an infopass appointment at local USCIS. Hope things will be fine soon.

Even if we got approve today, I still need about 3 months to move. So, I am going to visit him on first week of June. I will bring my rent contract, payment receipt, letter from work and my last pay stub as usual. But if we still dont get approval at that time, should I go to USCIS local office with him on June to ask again?
