Send Originals Again?

Well, I made the stupid mistake of moving to Denmark and getting married in the middle of the I-129F (still no NOA2 on it). I'm refiling this week the I-130 from abroad and am wondering if I have to send another certified copy of my divorce decree or if they'll already have it? I'm sure it would be safest to assume that I need to send an original again....

As a related question I've looked on the forums and on the USCIS website, but I seem to be getting confused as to whether we can submit photocopies of the marriage certificate, birth certificate, and divorce decree or whether originals with a raised stamp are needed. Can anyone clarify this for me?

You don't send originals to USCIS but they will need another divorce decree. Don't assume that anything from your I129F will transfer over, because it won't.

You also need to formally close the I129F, have you don't that?

No, I haven't yet. I will look up how to close it. As of this morning they still haven't touched it since May :( Thanks for reminding me or letting me know, as I totally hadn't thought of it.

No, for USCIS, only a photocopy of the decree is required. The NVC will require the original.

Your question scares me, though - I have some sense that you've missed the I-130 instructions pdf file.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

I've read it about 10 times, thanks, but I wanted to be double sure so I don't get a RFE.
