Since you seem to be the most knowledgeable, I answered NONE NONE for the left side and MONTREAL CANADA for the right side. I am in the US, he is in Canada, we will be sending the I130 to Chicago. Did I do this correctly?

It's amazing how just by lurking the forums, you realize you answered something wrong.

You did it right. He is the visa applicant and will apply for a visa in Montreal. You are the petitioner.

Another common error would be if you neglected to list yourself as your alien relative's spouse at the top of page two. This is YOUR petition in behalf of YOUR alien relative (spouse). He has a spouse. It's you.

I missed that as well but I saw someone mention it a few days ago.

I have my paperwork completed, but I've waited to turn in because it seems every day I've found things that people mention that I overlooked. For example, I saw someone note that I should say where my pictures were taken and who was pictured. At first, I just had dates on them, but I figured it was probably a good idea to put the names of the people in our pictures and if it were in canada or the US. SO MUCH GOOD STUFF!

I'm sorry but your opinion is "wrong" and what I have stated IS "fact". The OP is filing DCF in London so the error will not have a consequence.

As I've said, I disagree with your interpretation and it is not fact.

Agree to disagree. Let's move on.

I do not believe that is correct.

The heading on the section clearly states "Complete the information below if your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status" (emphasis mine).

Exactly. Question #22 does state that very clearly. :)

Blank or n/a would be appropriate if the beneficiary is not in the USA applying for adjustment of status.

USCIS: 307 days from NOA1 to NOA2 (no RFE's)

15JUN2012 USC married in Côte d'Ivoire
13AUG2012 I-130 sent by FedEx to Chicago
15AUG2012 I-130 packet delivered to mailroom, per FedEx.com
18AUG2012 NOA1, rcvd SMS & email saying case is routed to Vermont Service Center, later rcvd by snail mail
21AUG2012 the date on next I-797C received only by snail mail, says petition transferred to Lee's Summit,MO
28AUG2012 "touch" (website shows case was updated)
03OCT2012 the date casefile was sent to Atlanta, per phone call with ISO
01FEB2013 infopass at Atlanta, casefile has not even been assigned to anyone yet!

21JUN2013 NOA2, email received! USCIS website is updated! No SMS was received.

Letter rcvd later by snail mail from NBC, Lee's Summit, MO; however, I know file was adjudicated in Atlanta.

NVC:

11JUL2013 the date NVC says they received our file

19JUL2013 called and got Case # and IIN #, gave email addresses

22JUL2013 received DS-3032 and AOS invoice by email, mailed DS-3032

NO, for any beneficiary that will apply for a visa leave none of that section blank. Put N/A for the city they will adjust status and the City and Country where the Consulate or Embassy is located, if they will apply for a visa. Treat the sentences independently. One is either adjusting status or applying for a visa. The "in the..." only applies when adjusting status.

You can see the example forms for confirmation.

Oh wow. I just looked at the example I-130, and the person who filled out the responses put a date marriage that is before his own date of birth so... lol

If the beneficiary is in the USA you do the part for the AOS. If the beneficiary is NOT in the USA you put n/a and then you fill in the consulate or embassy in which their interview will be held.

That is what I think too.

12/14/19 applied online N400

01/09/20 Biometrics appointment

The example is an example. It wouldn't surprise me if the dates are random. That's not an issue. For a real petition you use real dates.
