Just wanted to give some people an update on my AOS processing time at NBC.

Background info - Filed AOS on July 10th, 2012 - Sent to NBC for processing after was submitted to Chicago Lockbox.

So I have been having trouble with my case status online (keeps saying case status could not be found but had biometrics done in Aug and EAD/AP card issued in September 2012). I again checked the webiste today and still the same message appears as they have not updated this in the system

Just called USCIS to get an update on my case status and the gal on the phone informed me that I485 application has been sent to the field office in Buffalo and that I should be receiving our interview letter within 70-90 days. Stupid me forgot to ask what date it was transferred from NBC to the field office but it must have been in the last 2 weeks as I called USCIS on the 11th of October.

Just wanted to let people know that NBC seems to be processing AOS apps quite quickly.

Hope this helps anyone who is waiting.

All cases go throught NBC. They then stay there if they are chosen to be waived from an interview, or they are sent to a local USCIS office for an interview.

No problem. :) it's just that your timeline doesn't necessarily apply to everybody, only to people who will also have an interview at the same local office as you (some offices are faster than others). But anyway, this is great news, you should receive your interview update soon!
