APPROVED after 3 weeks of AP! And Miami POE question

Hi everyone,

First of all, thanks a million for all of your support....we are finally approved! Thanks especially to Saylin, Darnell, Ryan H, Bigdog, Pushbrk, and SO many others that helped along the way. I called the DOS on Tues, they said it had been approved last Friday, and by yesterday it had been sent to our local DHL office. We are so lucky that our AP was relatively quick!

And taking advantage of the thread to ask a question....I looked in the POE area, but there are very few recent reviews of POE at Miami. I am looking at a flight that would give us a 4hr layover in Miami (we would be getting in at 6:10am on a Weds)....would that be enough most likely? I am trying to buy a ticket with my miles, and so that is the only option I have. Two other questions related to this:

1. We will be flying together, so when they take my hubby to the "immigration room," they will let me accompany him, right?

2. We are both going to fly on one way tickets....that should also not be an issue, right?

AGAIN, THANK YOU EVERYONE! And I will still be on here every once in awhile to try to help out others and surely to figure out removal of conditions and all that...

March 21, 2012 - NVC Received

April 4, 2012 - NVC Case Number Received

April 9, 2012 - AOS bill Paid

April 12(ish) - IV bill Paid

June 11, 2012 - AOS and IV packages received by NVC

June 18, 2012 - Checklist received from NVC (to send forms that I am not even supposed to have!)

June 20, 2012 - IV packet approved

June 26, 2012 - AOS Checklist response sent

July 18, 2012 - Case complete

August 23, 2012 - Medical Appointment

September 26, 2012 - Interview - supposedly approved but put on Administrative Processing :-(

October 18, 2021 - Received Visa

Dec. 13, 2012 - POE at Miami

Dec. 20, 2012 - received Social Security Card

Jan. 3, 2013 - received Greencard

1. I'm not sure, on this one. The only suggestion I have for you is to contact the CBP general inquiry line, information can be found here: http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/contacts/customer_service.xml

2. Not an issue.

WOWWWWWWWWW! I'm so happy to hear you are finally DONE! :D CONGRATS

I live in Miami, and YES the two of you can be together at the POE process at the airport. I personally was on that room some years ago, and my ex-husband was with me at all times.

And second, you don't need round trip tickets. ENJOY YOUR LIFE, and make your love being forever and ever.

December 31, 2012: NVC email with AOS bill and DS-3032 received

January 2, 2013: Received cover sheet for AOS by email
