My husband got phone call to provide siblings info

My husband got a phone call from embassy of Islamabad Pakistan, after 13 months of AP. They are asking him to provide his siblings names date of births and their addresses. Does anyone know why they ask for this information and how long it takes after that to get visa? Thanx

It could be to confirm his identity because he has a common name.

It should be a good sign, if they want your husband's siblings number and address maybe they want to pay a visit and ask questions about your husband. If all goes well AP will likely be ending soon for you .

hi my husband got same email from islamabd embassy.they were asking the same thing to my husband to provide there names and date of births and they also ask him what kind of job your were doing around that time. he got that email in February 24 2012 after send in that information we never heard anything from them.Every time i called DOS number to find out about our case they tell us the same thing that it going through administer process when that done we let him know and we also get same answer from the embassy.
