My GC expires in feb

(I married my husband who is a us citizen )

We did use an attorney for filling out my papers to apply for GC thru marriage and he came to the interview with us , but we are not sure if we should use him to file my i751 papers because the cost is pretty high, I'm wondering how many of you did it on your own ? Is it pretty easy to file the i751?

We filed for my husband's ROC ourselves and did not go to a lawyer. The process is pretty simple and there is a lot of helpful threads on VJ that assisted us greatly.

My personal opinion is paying a lawyer is a waste of money.

Good luck to you. :)

Must people dont need lawyers to fill up USCIS forms, you just have to follow the directions and you can always ask here. Is pretty simple

What you need is A LOT OF PATIENCE, because it takes forever, unless you have are an active military personal (or a spouse.

We did the first bit with a lawyer. Huge waste of money having hindsight. The ROC stage is easier I think that AOS. Don't waste your money... use the guide on here and read the forums. And have patience!
