Timeline

My interview will be on October 12 @ USEM. A few more days from now. I'm getting more anxious and nervous. My fiancé will be with me but not sure if it will be helpful and a plus factor to get approve..  My interview is 7:30 am.. What time we should be there?? Please Help.. Thank you! I'll appreciate all ur comments.

My wife got there at 5:00 am and there were already 60 applicants ahead of her in the K1 line . Interview was sceduled for 7:45 am . Best of luck to you guys !

Arriving at 6AM to 6:30 AM will be just fine, the early crowd will have cleared and you will get into the processing line right away when arriving, the guard will direct you to which line.

I was there with my wife, it was very easy and enjoyable experience. Relax, all will be fine.

My fiancee ran late and arrived about 30 minutes prior to her interview time. It was no problem. Take slow deep breaths and relax :)

I was in the same situation before I had my interview.. Relax, you'll be fine..

My interview was 7:30 am.. Arrived in USEM at 6:15am and done at 10:45am..

We had our interview scheduled for 7:30am,got to USEM by 6:30am, but there were quite a few couples ahead of usand for some reason, several couples including us were forgotten about until I stepped up and said something, we were finished by 1pm. Make sure to have eaten prior to going to USEM would be my advice. Otherwise the only option you'll have are vendors who sell drinks, mini-siopao and hotdogs...

This is helpful advice. I am telling my fiancee to plan being there til 5:00 p.m. :whistle:

3/7/2013 - USCIS Chicago rec'd applications

3/12/2013 - USCIS sends NOA1 email
