Im a January filer, too. VSC is really taking their sweet time. As Menina stated 3 of our members have heard back from them so it's only fit to say the decisions will be coming in soon.

Maybe share with us your timeline details and that might help make you feel a bit better :)

Also your profile says you are filing for Naturalization.. is that correct?

They're too busy helping and approving the illegals, at our expense, thanks to Obama. Nov 6 can't come soon enough.

Does anyone know if the Vermont center is working on the january files? The USCIS website states that they are working on Nov 28 as of Sept 13. It has been more than 8 months for me and as far as I have seen a lot of people are in the same position. It is very frusturating :(

So finally they are sending my card..this is what the website says today

On October 4, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hopefully everyone will receive something soon.

So my question is: can I just include a copy of my old green card or do they need a copy of the one that they are sending me? Will the new card have the same A number as the old one?

Thanks

Congratulations! The A# will always be the same. As it's already coming in the mail I would wait to send them a copy of the new one.

Can you please share with us your timeline so we can add you to our january thread.
