I've been reading about RFE's and I was wondering if I (petitioner)should send, along with my certified copy of my divorce decree, the long form of my decree that spells everything out and has multiple signatures such as the Judge and my own and my ex-husbands?

My comment above about a UK decree absolute was because they have no signatures and some USCIS workers send them back and say to send one with a signature. They fail to recognize it as the final decree and there is none with a signature.

Yes to your US decree. They want a judge's signature. And hang on to it because you'll prove to USCIS more than this one time that your marriage ended (for other immigration benefits that are based on marriage to a USC....like citizenship for example.)

If my Fiance and I file paperwork next week and in a month to two months he has to move does that invalidate our package OR do we just have to wait for an RFE and send a change of address form? :bonk::help:

Wait. if the USC moves you need to let USCIS know by following their instructions.

If the beneficiary (the foreigner) moves, you can fix that later on at the Interview state (Nich-Nick will know better about this part) ... but the important things is that nothing should get invalidated because either one of you moves... people move all the time yes.gif

Thank you. I'm am worried because my fiance (UK citizen) has just been told his company is downsizing and he may have to sell his home sooner then he planned. I (US Citizen) am worried that if he sells in a few months that means our I-129 form is incorrect and that it will be RFE of his move. It's reassuring to hear that it can be dealt with at the interview and that I can still file. Still anxious about it though! lol
