Oh my God ! Cannot believe they didn't expedite your case :wow::blink: :blink: :blink: you guys should've been approved long time by now ! Wonder what is going on with these people dont they have families themselves ? How can people get ahead of other people ??? did you filed a congress man inquiry ? this is really not ok ! I pray you get approved soon ! :thumbs::innocent: hang in there anyway! I am sure your visa is just around the corner :thumbs:

We finally got approved. We're hangin in there. Thanks for the support!

I was thinking about trying to rush the interview scheduling based on some other recommendations, but I've come too far to risk having to do this all over again!

I was thinking about trying to rush the interview scheduling based on some other recommendations, but I've come too far to risk having to do this all over again!

Congrats!! Not that it's really relevant I suppose but she's your fianceé, not fiance. One e is male, 2 is female. I was confused for a bit about why "he" had your son and whether your son was actually your step-son so I was going to offer advice about that before seeing your comment about making grown men crying. It might be relevant later on in the process though when you're asking qns :)

Hi, I was interviewed on 8th November 2012 for my k-1 visa..one document was missing which they ask to me to submit at my local VFS office..I submitted that on 15th nov along with 221g form..its 24th nov today and I have yet not received my passport stamped or any email asking me to collect my passport from the local vfs office.. Please help..is this delay normal..can i verify my status in detail..

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
