We do need it but currently USCIS states that I'll get my husbands bio date "sometime before case is reviewed". They refuse to give me a time frame other than sometime in the next six months on when to expect it even though it's standard that it should have been delivered within one month.

Hello October Filers,

Have you tried tracking your case status through the USCIS site? I have been checking since I did my biometrics but it says:

Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

I called and they advised to check again after 6-7 months. If I don't receive anything by then then I should start worrying and should schedule an info pass. :blink:

Anyone else having the same issue?

Did you track it using the number on the biometrics notice? That is the only number that is linked to status updates on their website. The NOA2 number will bring up nothing....

Well we all track it using that link. The question is on what letter did you get the receipt number you inputted into the receipt field. It should be a set of nine numbers that would start with 3 alphabets- example is EAC.........

OK let me try again. You are misunderstanding me. You are tracking on the correct website that's not what I am saying.

You received two notices: 1) NOA2 and 2) a BIOMETRICS notice.

These notices each have a NUMBER on them. The numbers are NOT, repeat, are NOT the same. You MUST use the number on the BIOMETRICS notice to track your case on the USCIS website, NOT the number on NOA2, or you will get the NOT FOUND message you describe.

No no misunderstanding, just me being stubborn :bonk: I've always thought that NOA notices have the same numbers from the initial receipt. Thanks for looking in to this, it really helped. I finally got the status!!!
