RFE on I-864 (associated with I-485)

My wife and I recently filed an I-130 and I-485 concurrently, and just a few days ago received a RFE related to the I-864 that was part of the I-485 package. The request is for a complete tax return for the year 2011. Now, I attached a complete copy of our joint 2011 tax return (as prepared online with H&R Block) and transcripts for 2010 and 2009. It occurs to me that I forgot to send W-2s and 1099s for 2011. I did not use a transcript for 2011 because I was not aware at the time we were preparing things that a transcript is actually preferred to a copy of the return. I wish I had known that, as it would have made all this easier.

As I'm fairly certain that all they're wanting is the W-2 and 1099 for 2011, should I just send that to supplement the complete 1040 (plus other schedules) that they already have, or should I just get a transcript for 2011? Is there any reason that a transcript would be inferior to copies of these forms at this point, or is it ALWAYS preferable to send a transcript for tax returns?

Get a tax return transcript from the IRS. They prefer it because it's more official. Ask it now here https://sa2.www4.irs.gov/irfof-tra/start.do and you should receive it in about 1-2 weeks.

Get a transcript if you can - it is preferred. If not, resend the 1040, all schedules, W-2s, etc - EVERYTHING, including what you already mailed.
