Thanks everyone, for your wishes.....

This is actually pretty tough just right now....am again on the phone with her while we talk our final thoughts out....and somehow, we both still want and feel "us" but just can't figure it out.....We have had these practical issues for some time now...and unfortunately....this is how life is...

As my fiance just said - Sometimes there is a sting to the rose....

You never know, it could work out in the end, everything happens for a reason. Things may just be on hold for now. I say stick around. I am getting divorced from my Romanian husband and I still come by every day. I still chat with old friends from here from time to time and there are some that still seek me out for help with Embassy questions and advice.

I have met someone else and I may need VJ again one day since he is from England.

Sure it's going to hurt for a while, believe me, I spent a couple of months in my pj's on the couch staring (not even watching) the tv, but one day when I wasn't looking, something great happened. Your something great could be a reunion or it could be someone new. It will all work out in the end, I promise :thumbs:

take care *hugs*

Love doesnt require two people to look at each other

but that they look together in the same direction

Sometimes in life we need to lean on what is given and accept what we can

Each day you have is now.. tomorrow is something you can work towards .. but yesterday is past and can only be thought of.

If you have the love all things will be possible..

I wish you the best.. hope that your journey is not at its end.. but only a wee bump... (F)

Love isn't love unless it is expressed;

caring isn't caring unless the other person knows;

sharing isn't sharing unless the other person is included

I thank everybody for all the wonderful words and feelings....I knew you guys would understand, well, at least most of you.....

Mo, Thanks for the words. Unfortunately, the problems we face right now, which may, just may have been solvable, are heightened by the fact that due to family pressure, we would not be able to spend any time of substance together anytime soon, and in fact, that is the way it has been since the start of our relationship 2 years back....and though we have gone through a lot together since then,things have come to a head now.

Hence neither of us can see a practical solution out for either or both of us in the near or even distant future and so, our kind of forced decision to "hang up our boots".

I thank everyone again for their understanding and their thoughts, it gives one strength.

Thanks everyone, for your wishes.....

hey Delhiguy :star:

I'm sorry to read your news. Reading between the lines, I wonder if this is something that some time with each other wouldn't sort out?

Remember, there are ALL kinds of relationships. If yours doesn't read like the pages of a romance novel, Cosmo magazine or a Bollywood script, guess what? Very few do, in real life. :)

Courage, young friend. Hang in there.
