Did they speak to you or

your parents or

your neighbors?

Who did they say they were?

What questions did they ask?

This is what the embassy does when they are trying to prove you are not married in egypt or

if they want to see if your friends and family know about your american girlfriend or

if you are keeping her a secret

please tell us what happened

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

This is not uncommon when you are in AP and they doubt you have a bonafide relationship. They may have wanted to talk to neighbours and your family to see if they know about the engagement and whether your family approves.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

yes

egypt has been known to do this to quite a few members

search home visits or cairo and you will find some

i did look but i dont see can you tell me or give me profile name so i can look and see what the did
