In 5 days or so, call the NVC and ask if they received your approved petition file from VSC. If they say it was received then go ahead and ask for the case number.

Good luck to you.

**Moved from K1 Progress Reports to MENA forum, as this question can be best addressed there.

*Moved to Sub-Saharan.

It's considered Northern, but I'll move it again, not a problem.

By North Africa it means Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt. Basically the Arabic speaking countries. Kenya isn't in North Africa. It's far too south to be part of North Africa.

Err, no. It's south of the Sahara. Kenya is part of the East African community.

OP: Join us here in the Nairobi Embassy thread. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/160251-nairobi-embassy-thread/ Lots of your questions can be answered there :)

Shessa, you and your fiancee' need to read the link I sent you in my personal message I responded to for you...the link to the K-1 visa packet on the Nairobi Embassy website. You should also read through the Nairob Embassy thread (Katie and Sifa provided the link). All of your questions will be answered there. The last few pages of the thread show pretty much what steps need to be taken and at what stage. Read through it...you'll find what you are looking for
