What are the odds of NVC not forwarding our case to USEM in time for interview day?

I'm just very anxious and no matter how I kept saying, Keep Calm and Stay Cool it doesn't work :(

Anyways quick run down of our Timeline. We've got our NOA2 last Aug 17 and NVC received it on Aug 23 and on the same day MNL # was assigned. We were able to secure an Oct 25 interview date (44 days away to date). It has been almost 3 weeks from the day NVC received our case and up to now, they kept saying it's "under additional processing, there's no time frame but we'll notify you once it's completed." so redundant already. I'm assuming that NVC will scan these documents and send it to USEM electronically and the hard copies will follow through DHL courier right? I know we don't have to wait for the Packet 3 for they no longer mailed to the beneficiary's address and all forms are accessible to their website. Worst scenario, when the interview day comes and NVC will say the same thing, could we still proceed with the interview?

Please help me calm my nerves down :blink::wacko: Appreciate it!!

Your interview is in more than a month, relax. :) Sometimes NVC runs some additional background checks. It usually doesn't last 2 months, but a few weeks. Be patient and get ready for your interview to help you stop thinking about NVC.

K-1 Visa Timeline AOS Timeline

- Aug 31st, 2011 - Mailed I-129F package - May 29th, 2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP package

- Apr 13th, 2012 - Visa received - Aug 24th, 2012 - Green Card received

ROC Timeline

- May 19th, 2014 - Mailed ROC package to CSC

- Aug 8th, 2014 - Green Card received

N-400 Timeline

- Dec 29th, 2021 - Filed online. Got notice that biometrics will be reused.

- Now waiting...

Yes I know, plenty of time and I'm worried that I'll lose myself when we get to the end :blush:

Most supporting docs were sent to him already except for the current bank statement and pay stubs. I could easily email that and he'll print it before the judgement day :) Thanks!

I called the USEM and verified that they got the paperwork ( tho it was 5 weeks after the NVC released it. They stated they did. You can cell them and get some relief,

(632) 301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185 (local number: USEM 3012000 loc 5184/5185 call them around 3-4:30pm)

The chances that your physical case file won't reach the Embassy in time for the interview is rather remote. However, if the physical case file does not reach the Embassy in time for the interview, the Embassy won't allow the interview. They will not interview based only upon the electronic file.
