Hello everyone, funny question- we're trying to prepare all our evidence over 2 years just in case we're RFE'd..question is,because some of the Facebook chats are X-Rated,lol, are we supposed to include them or omit just the "bad" parts?

Second question- at the time we filed the I-130,the USCIS website only asked for a certified copy of our marriage certificate- so that's all the marital proof we submitted. What are the chances of being RFE'd?

Why didn't we discover VJ earlier????? :bonk::bonk:

Thanks all for your advise

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

You don't need to submit each and everyone of your chats from Facebook or wherever.

They just need to know that you have been in contact with each other prior to marriage (comes under courtship in RFE letter), proof of ongoing relationship (you are still in contact after marriage) and stuff like that. Basically, they need proof or evidence to establish the fact that your marriage is real and in good faith and not for immigration purpose only.

I submitted:

Some Chat logs, Some e-mails, some photos (wedding and others), affidavits from friends and witnesses of marriage, travel itinerary, copy of passport pages showing entry and exit stamps and a letter answering the questions they asked.

Not all the RFEs are same.

Married: 12/01/2011
USCIS Stage:
I-130 sent: 12/29/2011 NOA1: 01/03/2012 NOA2: 09/24/2012 (Text and website) - 09/28/2012 (In mail) <265 days to approval from NOA1 date>
I-129F sent: 01/14/2012 NOA1: 01/18/2012 NOA2: 09/27/2012 (Withdrawn)
RFE: 08/13/2012 "Proof of Bona Fide marital relationship". (Took them 7 months, 1 week and 4 days to send an RFE).
RFE Responce received by CSC-USCIS on 09/07/2012.

Thanks all for your advise

Well you have already submitted evidence so you will have to wait for your next chance to submit when you send your IV BILL packet in. many add extra evidence then.

As far as what kind of evidence. Why would you want to submit explicit stuff for a stranger to read. That doesn't prove a relationships jst proves you talk dirty. You want to submit a evolution of the relationship timeline from the beginning, the middle, the (marriage) and after. Not wise to submit anything and black out stuff. I am sure you have plenty of chats and emails not with all that. I mean its fine to submit some but well it shouldn't be every conversation.

But an RFE really don't know. If you get an RFE just like the list entails on the I-130 instructions on what could be used you should go back and review. All the chats, emails, Skype and letters are for the CO. The reason why I suggest you adding when you get to the NVC stage is this is the case file that will be in the hands of the CO the one that will do the interview. What would they have to go by that this is a bonafide relationship by what you submitted. You want the best and most decisive evidence in their hands don't you think!

Also you need to be putting some pictures in that packet there needs to be pictures of you two with friends and family. And especially the USC with friends and family. That's a must for anyone interviewing in any Embassy in Africa.

Thanks for the info...Submitting evidence during the NVC stage makes a lot of sense- had not thought of that earlier. We weren't planning on submitting the very personal chats, but we wanted to make sure. There's lots of pictures with my husband and mom/dad/sister/brothers/grandma...We have plenty of Facebook/ E mail chats too...about 300 pages worth. Now to the sifting process...
