I file my I-485 with my son as K-2 does it means I don't need to file another I-485 for him. I just do 2 checks one is 1,070 for me and 635 for my son. And do I have to file G-325a for him too even he is a minor? Thank you

You file a 485 for him along with yours. Read the Instructions.....it's all there.

Yes you will need an I-485 for your child.

This was in part my cover letter:

The following for La Vla Skr (daughter):

I-485 Petition for Alien Relative for La Vla Skr

Copy of La Vla Skr Passport including I-94 front and back

Birth Certificate with a certified English translation

Two Passport photos with full name on the back

I-693 Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record Page 1 and 5, with original Ukraine vaccination record, English translation and USA vaccination records

I-864 and copy of primary I-864 of mother Alla O (for supporting documents see I-864 supporting documents contained with I-864 of Alla O contained in this packet)

I-765 Application for Employment Authorization with a copy of I-94 front and back and 2 passport photos with full name and date of birth on the back

I-131 Application for Travel Document with copies of passport and 2 passport photos with full name and date of birth on the back

This was what I included for my stepdaughter.

That was pretty rude....if you don't know the answer, then no reply is needed.

With your logic, nobody should ask any question here because all answers are provided on various government websites.

Consider checking out the Guides K-2 AOS tips. The stickie notes on the AOS family-based visas Forum also contain some very useful information.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Duplicate threads have been merged and duplicate post removed. Please do not start a new thread to ask the same question but continue the discussion in the thread you have already started. I have also moved the thread from the K-1 forum to the AOS forum as the question relates to completing AOS paperwork.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
