Yeah blood tests results are in and Ahmed has the antibodies for chickenpox in his blood, so that makes him immune. Civil Surgeon will meet with him next week andtranscibe the vaccination worksheet for only $20.00 :) Once that is done we will mail it with the RFE letter and hopefully hear soon that he is approved for his greencard.

Still waiting.

Made contact with my congressman yesterday to see if he can maybe help speed things up. We'll see...

Still waiting...

Reaching out to my congressman was of no help.

And now we just moved and have to change our address. Hopefully that doesn't set us back.

Just got a text message to check my case status and was so happy to see this appear on the screen! We didn't follow up it since the start of the year. And holla, no interview!!! I guessed they are on the roll now...

"On May 7, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.

If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

Ahmed went to the civil surgeon yesterday and he filled out the form to show that the varicella vaccine is all set. They gave us a DO NOT OPEN enevlope and made sure we knew not t open it. I said we knew from the one Ahmed got in Tunisia. Tomorrow I will be stopping at the post officr to mail the enevlope and hoping we hear good news soon!

Congrats to the new greencard holders who were recently approved :)

[*] 15 May 2013 - Moved from MN to LA; [*] 17 May 2013 - Applied for a new SS card/filed an AR-11 online (unsuccessfully), therefore called and spoke to a Tier 2 and changed the address; [*] 22 May 2013 - Address updated on My Case Status (finally can see the case numbers online); [*] 28 May 2013 - Letter received in the mail confirming the change of address; [*] 31 July 2013 - Went to Romania; [*] 12 September 2013 - returned to the US using the AP, POE Houston, everything went smoothly; [*] 20 September 2013 - Spoke to a Tier2 and put in a service request; [*] 23 September 2013 - Got "Possible Interview Waiver" letter (originally sent on August, 29th to my old address, returned and re-routed to my current address); [*] 1 October 2013 - Started a new job.

my status just change to interview. finally!!!!!

Do you know how long will take to receive the notice letter and aproximatively when could be the interview?

I'm asking because i just book yesterday ans international fly for our vacation from 5 to 28 june...

Hi iam new to VJ, i have been following the august 2012 k1 AOS threads sincerely. Now ive finally decided to become a member. The latest email i got from USCIS is as follows "Your USCIS application/petition has been received and routed to the National
Benefits Center for processing." I got this on Aug 3rd 2012. Its a k1 based AOS case. Now my case is nearing the 10th month mark. Yes, iam very anxious and nervous. Anyone else in the same boat?.
