He publicly disgraced me by telling that I am posting misleading information on VJ.

I said NVC schedules IR-1/CR-1 visas the 2nd week of every month...just as NVC also says.

Ryan H said this is NOT true...NVC schedules the interview dates all month long.

If this is true and we already have our date scheduled, then why are we not being told what the date is???

But, I can't say he is wrong because maybe he will ban my account.

Well what can we do but to wait................ Am sure by this week the dates will be rolling in yes.gif

Well, whoever he is, he should understand that different countries probably have different policies. I for one know that for Nigeria, interview scheduling is first to second week of each month (for CR1) after the second week, no more scheduling. This is confirmed info froM NVC.

you really can't fully trust them unless you speak to a manager, mayyybe. I called inquiring if my case was complete on friday. Lady got really bitchy and told me that it always takes 20 days for a case to be reviewed and completed. Called back later, and my case was completed, after 4-5 days.

Yes, sometimes NVC has really mean people. Then you just try calling again and you get someone else nicer who actually explains good.

I still havn't sent the iv package, just waiting for my husband to fill out the ds230 form and sign it. Mail from nigeria is so slow. We pray we make the deadline to get the iv package in on time to get an october interview in lagos.

You should have your husband FedEx the documents to you. Cost about 80 dollars for up to one pound. The DS-230, DS-3032, Police Certificate, and Birth Certificate combined do not weigh a pound for all.

Tell him how fast he wants to get here is now up to him! When he gets you the papers you can proceed with the process! My husband is such a HUGE PROCRASTINATOR! I've had to light a fire under his behind several times so he would get a move on! LOL. Good luck to you! God Bless!!!

He already sent the paperwork last week, it is in route to me, just waiting. I already have the police certificate ect. my husband sign the wrong page and made a mistake on the ds 230 so we had to redo the paperwork. I filled it out this time for him and emailed him the form to print out and sign. Now i might miss the october interview dates because of this error. Men they can't live with out us women lol

That is the way I did it originally.....I filled out all the forms for my alien wife, sent them Fed-Ex to Philippines, she signed all forms. and returned to me Fed-Ex.

Spendy....but fast and reliable source for document travel.

Good luck in getting your interview appointment as soon as bureaucratically possible.

Yep....you never know....NVC keeps so much in the "dark"....we never know what the whole truth is.

Maybe we can all fit into a nice October slot.

Please...hold my hand and pray with me.
