How come you people that holler the most about Tolerance usually are the very least tolerant among us. So people don't share your political beliefs so you wish them to be hit by a hurricane... Nice.. True Colors.

I have some Liberal Atheist friends. They are the least tolerant of others views that I have ever met. Well except for some Pentecostals I know. To be honest there is little difference in the two in that regard.

Newsflash. If you are a "real" Christian then you think that your fellow man will spend eternity in unbearable pain, being tortured 24/7 for trillions of years, forever, because he doesn't share your unprovable primitive beliefs.

That is a very harsh intolerant view IMO.

An atheist will never tell someone they are going to be tortured in the afterlife because they don't believe in fairy tales (such as talking snakes, woman made from man's rib, talking bushes, talking donkeys, 500 year old father's, men living to 950, parting seas, living inside of whales, walking on water, turning sticks into snakes, entire universe made in a week, Noah's Ark, etc.)

Anyone that does not see a similarity to children's fairy tales is deeply brain washed. None of the above happened.

If I had to choose between extreme weather and a repub convention coming to town I would choose the weather! In the end it is probably far less dangerous to the country as a whole!
