Hi. Can you tell me what number you called and how you got through or who did you speak with? I was told by NBC my packet was sent to Juarez around July 18. Can you tell me when yours was sent to Juarez in order to see when I can expect mine? Thank you

sure. try calling this number. 703 439 2313.. select english or spanish... select immigran visa.. information on immigrant visa.. i think its option 2. ask them if thye have received your application and give them your cdj case number. also confirm your home address if asked or what ever info they ask...

Thank you for the response. It helped alot. I got my invite letter and scheduled both my appoinments. Quick note invite letter says to go to mexico.usvisa-info.com first but first fill out DS-260 before anything. Also know this form goes on to ask you sane stuff as the 325A form but goes further back. Ask for last address since person was 16 and also work for last 10 years as well as High School and College info. If anyone has any questions let me know. My appointment in Juarez is in October.

I say fill out the DS-260 first because when going to the http://mexico.usvisa-info.com site it only lets you get so far before asking for the DS-260 confirmation number. You need the DS-260 confirmation number to pay visa fee of $240 and to schedule the ASC and Interview date. You chose the Interview date first then the ASC. This is done in that order because the ASC must be done with in 7 days of interview and it appears they only let you have those 7 days prior to interview availble to schedule the ASC. hope this helps someone.

Yes, you should fill out the DS-260 first, like it is stated in the instructions: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/ciudadjuarez/231771/PDFs/packetk1may.pdf
