Will someone let me know if there is an online database that offers information about all certified document translators, and offers a search engine to find a local translator?

We live in Fort Walton Beach, FL, and we need to get a birth certificate translated very quickly.

Please let me know anything that may help as soon as possible

I got my birth certificate translated and notarized online, you just scan your paperwork and send to them.

If that's what you are looking for, I can give you the website. They charged $40 for everything including postage

Day1 -- 2012.05.09 Packet delivered at 1:29pm
Day7 -- 2012.05.15 Emails/texts acceptance confirmation at 5:16pm

Day11--2012.05.19 I-797C 4 hard copies received.
Day14--2012.05.22 Biometrics Appointment received. Scheduled for June 5th.

Relationship and I-130 Process

Sometime in October, 2011: We met online talking about Argentina.
Later in October: Met in person in Philadelphia and became good friends.
March 4, 2012: Became girlfriend and boyfriend, officially.
March 21: Gloria leaves the US at the end of her J-1 Visa.
April 9: Got engaged!
May 12-26: Chris visits Buenos Aires.
May 18: Got married in Argentina :) Happy day!!
May 29: Sent out I-130
June 4: NOA1 received.
August 17-20: Chris visits again.
September 22-29: Chris 3rd visit, Gloria's birthday!
November 11-January 5: Chris stays in Argentina almost 2 months, Gloria is happy!
December 28: NOA2 YAY!!!
December 31: Package received at NVC.
January 18, 2013: Got case # and IIN.
February 6: Case complete!!
February 11: Interview assigned.
February 25: Package received at Embassy in Buenos Aires.
March 18: Interview Approved!!
March 28: Visa received.
March 29: Houston POE

April 11: received greencard!!!!!!!

January 9, 2015: sent out form I-751

I also used Fox, they were great and very accomodating! My husbands birth certificate was hard to read (old copy in French) and we had to go through several drafts before getting it right but Tom with Fox Translate was very helpful!!!

February 5, 2015 - Case transferred to California Service Center due to move to Texas.

That's what we did as well. Worked nicely.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

Does her proof of citizenship (attached to the inside of birth certificate) need to be provided/translated as well? She received her birth certificate during the USSR, and the proof was issued after Russia changed to the "Russian Federation".

I would think anything attached, associated and needing to be included should be translated.

Wife did her own translation as she is fairly fluent. No issues.

Well, the problem that I'm questioning is whether the birth certificate with the attached Russian Federation proof of citizenship (on the inner cover) would be considered one or two documents when having it translated.

We have a local lead, but haven't received a response from that lead yet, and are just waiting. However, we don't want to spend more than we have to.
