Okay, I just need clarification on this process..

I have already received answers to the medical/vaccination question I posted. But I was reading a list of what he needs to take with him to the interview regarding original AND photocopies of all documents. Since this is the second interview, is this necessary? They already had all the originals the first time around, and unfortunately I did not include our marriage certificate with all the other evidence that I recently mailed to him. And truthfully, I do not think we included photocopies of any documents, as we were not prepared.

If this IS required, what documents are they requesting apart from the marriage certificate? I just want it all for one mailing if we have to have these things.

And is there a topic somewhere on this site to help us further prepare? Thanks in advance :)

What I have seen some do is email the consulate once they get interview date and ask what is it they need to bring. Soem are advised "You will be advised at interview" some are told what they are lacking. You know you need a new PCC so have that with you and all orginal documents just to be sure. And email.

Second interviews are not the norm. What are the reasons that the second interview is required? That would be the source for what ought to be taken to the Embassy.

This second interview is because of denial due to CO thinking my husband entered into relationship for immigration purposes only. I have sent evidence to my husband to counteract that. We were not asked for further RFE, just reapproved. This question is in regards to frequently asked questions from the Lagos Consulate.

So on top of photocopies of pics I should include the original ones? And the same of his birth cerrtificate, mine, the marriage certificate and police report? Just trying to get the clear pic of what they are asking...guess this means yet another shipment to 9ja :(

The new photos as in what has happened since the interview. But you also need before during and after the interview the whole relationship since that is what is in question.

I would send off that email and inquire and see but all you can do is have what you have logs, emails, IM's all that stuff.

I already told you the two most impportant pieces need to be right on top explains alot and they will ask.

Well they should have all originals or did they give those back at 1st interview? all you should have to have is just the new PCC. Hopefully they won't ask for another medical but that you won't know until interview. Looks like you have everything just need your date to show up.

They gave him our marriage certificate, thats it. He was asked if he had anything else with him that day, but it wasnt defined as to what he was asking. See, this is why I am wondering. Was he asking for evidence, for originals and copies, what??? I printed the cover sheet so I now know what were copies and originals that the attorney submitted. The fact that he did not have these items could very well be why he told him it was for immigration purposes. Who knows! Lol

No need for your own BC. The rest I would say yes since it is Lagos. It is best to "think ahead" with Lagos and be prepared for the worst.

Don't take this too lightly.

Possible scenario : We want to be hopeful for your approval, however some couples get refused more than once and if they return your case again

and USCIS this time around sends you a NOIR and you need evidence for rebuttal and show them everything you have shown the CO in a neat package it will

only strengthen your case. Be cautiously optimistic but keep in mind you are dealing with Lagos where things play out differently compared to other consulates.

Okay, so off to print pics this weekend then, lol. The rest he can get there, except our marriage certificate, which I will mail with the pics! Thanks for the heads up! I thought photo copies of pics were good enough, now they are gonna get an album full :) And once I hear of an interview date I will be sure to ask them if they require any specific documentation.
