Hey friends I need ur help, my brother went in interview today and they everything was fine just they request him and my mom to do a test of ADN , how that is possible . Any one had deal with that. Please advice where to go and do it. My mom is in USA her son (my brother) is in Albania. Any answer I will appreciate .

RFE DNA/ did the DNA test req 8/2/2012

8/3/12 Collection kit was mailed in Tirana embassy (for my brother)

8/13/12 my brother was called at the embbasy. and the kit was mailed out to DNA center in California.

9/7/12 The results mailed out to Tirana Embassy

9/14/12 embassy called my brother to mail his passport to get his visa.

DNA journey lasted 6 weeks

Did they not give a list of approved firms to to the test? Basically, the mom will get a swab done in the USA, the son will get it done in Albania- possibly by the embassy. The son's swab is sent to the US testing facility, they send the results on, and that's that. Pricey.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

To get the results 3-6 weeks, depending on the facility. Then some more time for the embassy to review your case and (hopefully) approve the visa.

I found the place where to go but doesn't anyone knows how long it takes the procedure??

On average 2-3 months with embassy review. In short you will conduct the test.. it'll be forwarded to your mother .. her sample will be collected.. the findings will be reported to the embassy.
