Except when it's freedom from discrimination, right?

thats why people are participating in chick-fil-a appreciation day. to support a company the loons are trying to discriminate against, because the owner doesn't share their views. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

There's discrimination on both sides.

please explain

damn right

your words

Chick-Fil-A's words. Or their actions, at least.

I'm not a fan of people who will say 'we treat our customers with respect and dignity' ... but only when they're in their stores. When they're not, the owners of said company are throwing piles of money to stop their oh so valued customers from having equal rights.

But hey - like I've said in the 23409 other Chick-Fil-A threads ... people can vote with their wallet all they'd like. All the power to them. It's an overreaction on both sides.

What discrimination is that? The company doesn't discriminate. It serves anyone that comes though the door. It hires people without regard to sexual orientation. The only thing the owner of the company did was to express his own PERSONAL opinion. As far as I can see he keeps his personal opinion separate from his business practices. The freedom mentioned is the freedom to express an opinion. Everyone should have that right, both those for and against the issue at hand.

Well, you answered your question in your own post, really. When his own personal opinion discriminates against others, that's discrimination.

To be fair, the CEO of Chick-Fil-A expressing his personal religious views does not equal actual discrimination. If you think it does, explain how.

I'm not hating on anyone.

In 2010, Chick-Fil-A donated almost 2 million dollars to anti-gay organizations.
