REQUIRED SECURITY INFORMATION:

You are required to provide the following security information with each inquiry to receive a case specific response:

* Name of the person submitting the inquiry

* NVC case number or USCIS receipt number

* Petitioner's name and date of birth

* Principal Applicant's name and date of birth

UPDATE:

They only need the NVC case number.

So the USCIS receipt number is optional. (we also included this information in the email, but I called it the Notice of Action Receipt Number)

If you want something done right, you do it yourself!

I used the template provided in step one as is and am now waiting on case complete. Everything pertaing to my beneficiaries case has come to me. NVC extracts the information they need to process the requests. I guess the rest they just pass over. I had no problems.

Saylin: Is this template okay for the DS-3032 email?

NVC Case Number: < - - - >

Notice of Action Receipt Number: < - - - >

Petitioner's Name: < - - - >

Petitioner's Date of Birth: < - - - >

Beneficiary's Name: < - - - >

Beneficiary's Date of Birth: < - - - >

DS-3032

Declaration of Choice of Address and Agent for Immigrant Visa applicant

To whom it may concern:

My name is <Beneficiary's Name> and my NVC case number is: < - - - >

I appoint <Petitioner's Name> as my agent of choice to receive all future correspondence from the U.S. Department of State.

Mail from the U.S. Department of State concerning my immigrant visa should be sent to:

<Petitioner's Name>

<Street Address>

<City, State and Zip Code>

<Country>

Phone: < - - - > Email: < - - - >

Sincerely,

<Beneficiary's Name>

Email: < - - - >

.

Like others have said, just use the template linked in the first post. As long as you have all the important information, it'll be accepted.

I'm not sure why you're making such a big deal out of the USCIS/NOA receipt number. Just include that along with the NVC case number. Everyone here has followed the template and gotten their DS-3032 email accepted.

Mailed our IV packet yesterday. It should arrive at NVC around 3pm today. :)

Yay, grats! kicking.gif

Finally got back late last night from Canada after being there five days. Hubby and I went to his interview in Montreal on August 2nd and he was approved!! Eleven months after filing the petition and all the waiting. Planned POE is September 4th for either Lewiston or Buffalo, NY, so we're getting ready for it. Really excited that he'll finally be coming down permanently after so long. :dance::dance:

Thank you so much to Saylin and all the others who were very helpful during our journey! I hope everyone else's journey goes well!

Woot woot! Glad to hear the good news! Congrats!

Last night I called and asked about my AOS package - accepted! YAY! It had probably been accepted for a while but since it didn't really affect anything by calling them or not, I didn't feel like calling the NVC for a while. I still want my hubby to bring that joint sponsor stuff to the interview, but now at least we can be 95% sure that he won't need it! And it's also good news because all that's left for the NVC to review is my DS-260 and supporting documents!

Hey, so, I know hindsight's 20-20, but isn't it interesting that it says in the portal that they will review the DS-260 upon receiving the supporting documents? I totally should have sent the supporting documents as soon as I got the DS-260 instead of waiting (although I still sent them before I completed the DS-260) because I know they won't read my e-mail right away and it would have gotten my application further ahead in the queue. Maybe an idea for those who have yet to complete it. Although I suppose it's risky, I would have done it. :)

I am going to be responding to the checklist and will be sending my packet this Friday.

I know NVC is closed on a Saturday, but does mail still get delivered to them on a Saturday? What if I request signature confirmation?

Is there an advantage to getting the packet delivered by Saturday?
