JUST SENT MY PACKAGES TO NVC!!! WILL BE RECEIVED TOMORROW MORNING :dance: Thanks to everyone who helped out when i had any questions :D...Now im wondering howw longgg till I get a case complete am I just to wait to receive some kind of email or does this involve yet again calling a million timesss :lol:

Congratss! :thumbs: I've been told 7 days this is day day 5 for me since they received it and i've called every business day. Lets see what happens. I too question if they would send an email or not. I call just to make sure lol.

JUST CALL EVERYDAY FROM THE DATE THEY RECEIVED IT... IT TAKES ABOUT A WEEK FOR THEM TO REVIEW....JUST ASK THEM FOR A CASE UPDATE.IM SURE THEY ARE GOING TO TELL YOU WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT YET.CALL YOU WONT GET NO EMAIL FOR A CASE COMPLETED....

I call and they ask for your case number, beneficiary name and DOB and then Petitioners name and date of birth and when they finally ask what can I help you with I just say Has my case been updated? lol. I never know what to say. Its kind of embarrassing because I know what the answer is. “ma’am you have to wait for 20 business day from the day we received it” :lol:

Yea its a awkward phone call :lol: but I will be calling as soon as they receive it! Thanks guys :thumbs:

The NVC package consists of the Affidavits of support paperwork and the immigrants application for the visa along with other required documents they ask for!

You wont have to go through NVC since you are doing K-1. This is for spousal visas only.

10/05/2011 - Package arrived at chicago lockbox
10/06/2011 - NOA1
11/09/2011 - NOA2 (no RFE's)

11/14/2011 - Petition received by NVC/ Received NOA2 by mail
11/21/2011 - NVC case # received by email/ Got AOS fee by email/ Called NVC to provide beneficiary email
11/27/2011 - Choice of agent (DS-3023) sent to NVC by email
.....took a break from process to delay interview....
01/26/2012 - Payed IV fee

Lis,

About a week as long as everything is perfect with your packages to get CC. Keep calling everyday just in case you get a checklist (hopefully not) so you can get the checklist fixed if need be. They will all tell you 20 days, but just keep calling everyday. Since you said it should arrive tomorrow morning I would start calling Friday.

A Million times??? What are you talking about? I got my NOA2 before you and I still don't have a case number!!!

You know NVC have us addicted like addicts calling ad beggin. They have us. Call and Call and bug. All they can do is be snotty and mean. hehe
