Same here, I checked my online statement and the check was cashed overnight. Just for everyone's knowledge and information, we sent our stuff only first class mail. No signature, certified etc.

I already did some weird stuff today like stop at a green light and wear my glasses in the shower. I would probably mess up the grid. hahah

Well I just got my wife's biometrics appointment for 8/3 and I have to rescedule because we will be away. I thought they gave you at least 3-4 weeks advance notice? My concern is how bad will this affect her application because we have to rescedule? I am sending them a cover letter explaining why we can't make the appointment and a copy of the itinerary along with the notice.

With the letter in hand, you could do a walk in at the biometrics. We did it in our early stages during the K1 process.

I told you I would probably mess something up. ^^ It's VT alright.

Although we use his parents' mailing addy in Wisconsin. Which technically falls under CA Service Center.

So I put both on the envelope. Physical Addy and Mailing Addy. God knows if that will help.

Tomorrow I am going to mail out our packet out tomorrow.

-Form I-751

-Copy of front and back of green card

-notice saying why DH isn't on mortgage

-Letter from bank explaing that DH has been joint owner since July 2010 and a copy of bank statement showing deposits from our two jobs

-Copies of 1 credit card, both our names, same account

-Copies of Drivers' licenses, showing same address

-Joint Federal tax return transcripts for 2 years

-Auto insurance w/ both names from last 2 years

-Photos from sister's wedding in 2011, family reunion in 2012

- thank you note from cousin's wedding with both our names and date printed on card

-7 water utility bills with both our names on it and address

- copies of 3 church newsletters from 2011 and 2012 with names and address on it (and date of publication of newsletter) and one talks about me being in charge of a social event.

- copies of 2 work phone directories with my name and spouse listed

-3 affidavits from friend, coworker, pastor, not notarized but have "affirming" truth of statement

-Check for $590

Ready to get this stuff - taken care of - we will be going to California Service Center.

no need to include a cover letter with explanation... my wife was in a similar situation so i called uscis to try to get an earlier appointment -- agent explains to me that when rescheduling, you will automatically get the earliest available bio appointment in the queue...

i received my wife's rescheduled bio appointment a couple of days ago and it's scheduled for 8/20... just 13 days or 9 business days later than the original appointment (8/7). so not much delay in my opinion...

but i agree with the previous recommendations... if you have time and the office is relatively close from you, try walk-in...

updating my timeline to reflect rescheduled bio...

I told you I would probably mess something up. ^^ It's VT alright.

Although we use his parents' mailing addy in Wisconsin. Which technically falls under CA Service Center.

So I put both on the envelope. Physical Addy and Mailing Addy. God knows if that will help.

Well, silly person, you would probably type better if you took the strawberries off your fingers!!! Just kidding! :blush:
