Well, it seems VSC approved 4 more VJ I-130 filers on Friday!! That's kind of a relief. At least I know they are working on them, now! :)

Yay! It's kind of a relief to hear that, Hopefully they keep the good work and more I-130 filers get approved before Christmas....

That's a good advice, Cesar & Cata thank you!! it seems that NVC process speed is up to us, if we get delayed with the documents and payments they need, the process is gonna be delayed in consequence.

I'm so ready. I might get through the paperwork before Christmas. But I'm sure the actual interview will be after.

Yup, getting the police reports and stuff as well as the DS230 signed part 1 would take time if it comes from abroad, (I brought it with me when I made a trip down there). IRS tax transcripts also take a few weeks to arrive, if you are planning on submitting tax return copies you will also need to include the forms used to file them (i.e. W-2). I recommend getting the tax transcripts, they are from the IRS directly.

Good Luck.

Pre-Interview Forms / Items:

(Completed) 1. Completed and signed OF-169. (Check List)

(Completed) 4. A copy of intending immigrants biographic page of passport(s) including expiration date.

(Completed) 5. Original or certified "long" birth certificate.

(N/A) 6. Original adoption decree. (if applicable)

(Completed) 7. Marriage certificate. (if applicable)

(N/A) 8. Divorce decree(s) or death certificate(s) (if applicable)

(Completed) 9. Police certificate(s)

(N/A) 10. Court and prison records.(if applicable)

(N/A) 11. Custody records. (if applicable)

(N/A) 12. Military records (if applicable) on packet.

Maybe others will find it helpful, too.

Make sure not to sign PART 2 of the DS230, that needs to be done at the embassy.

I filed a 184ez sent the tax transcripts (3years), and 6 months of paystubs for the AOS, didnt send employment letter. Make sure that the title/job role from the 325a matches on the 184 word for word, heard some people got RFE for that.
