They told me that two weeks ago.

got it yup. I knew I had read it here somewhere. okay. then it looks like another two weeks unless things pick up...snail's pace for sure...sloth mode over at VSC. the torture continues.

I was told last week when I called to wait until the end of the month if I didn't get a reply by the end of this month to call back to file a service request...maybe he just told me that to get me off the phone :-/ ...this is so stressful and my marriage is suffering just after 6months my husband and I have a bunch of heated arguments that I know for a fact we wouldn't be having if we were next to each other so this distance between us is just getting to be too much and stupid USCIS is taking their sweet time they probably get to go home to their families and significant other at the end of their workday while we have to suffer thru this painful process...sorry everyone I'm in vent mode right now

what exactly is the "tier 2" i really know nothing about calling, all i know is the times i have called i had to press all kinds of numbers just to talk to a guy, is there a direct and easy way to talk to a customer service rep without going into various other categories?

yes, you should try to get some help. don't waste time.

the first person you talk to on the phone is a "tier 1" and "tier 2" is the next level. you have to request the "tier 1" to transfer you to "tier 2". and you do not need to give a reason to "tier 1".

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.

They told me that two weeks ago.

When I called 2 weeks ago they said it would take about two months to hear something that they were working dec 1 to jan 1 and that from there they would move to work on jan 2 to feb 1 my noa1 date is feb 10 so that I would have to wait about two more months . :blink: :blink: :blink:

How is the information that a tier 2 gives you differ from that of a tier 1? Would speaking to a tier 2 actually make any difference in processing an application?

Won't do a thing. Only could yield some more reliable information on what exactly they are processing. I had a very helpful CSR (I know a miracle right?) but there is nothing they can do. They can not even file a service request because the system blocks it until the processing date in the database is after your receipt date. Most recent word from VSC was 1/09...Probably an arbitrary date selected to keep us from harassing them. They will not accept service requests at this point and it's impossible for a CSR whether tier 1 2 3 or even supervisors to input the request at this time. We're on our own at this point. Watch, wait, see the paint dry. It's going to be a long road ahead...

the chances are 60% better. i would still go with a tier 2 if you're out of 5 months.
