hi guys...i just received my social security card,but there is an error to may middle name,they put MANGAY ,instead of MANGAYAYAM,it is lacking of 4 letters,should i correct it or just leave it that way??can it affects my other documents if ever ill not correct it..is the middlename reaally that matters??Please help me..thanks for ur response :) :) :)

I'd correct it. But that's just me, I would be fearful that an employer might give me a hard time becuase my SSN doesn't match other documents

But it might be just fine, it might be shorted due to the fact that your middle name is quite long

Call social security. Perhaps they just shortened it on the card because it is a long name. Good luck :)

thanks..yah,my uncle told me also ,maybe because my middlename is too long,thats why they shortened it.
