Hey y'all Im just curious as to how much you had to pay the Govt. Dr. to get your medical done especially here in the US. I mean any state Im just tring to see how much of a rip off these pple are!!!!!! Thanks

I paid $130 which includes filling out the form and all the exam that are required. I'm in ny.

I ended up paying $340 in NJ for my medical.

The lawyer gave me a list of USCIS approved doctors (in my neighborhood), for the medical examine. I called all of them up to see how much they charged. The one I went to was the cheapest.

Most of the others were between $400-500. I think that's a little too much.

$200 for my husband's and it took about 5 minutes.

If you came in as a K-1 you only need the vaccination supplement to the I-693. not a whole new physical. We paid $35.00 back in 2002, so I would think that still would be under $100.00. Check around since I think prices vary between Civil Surgeons.

Ks: If you were admitted to the United States as a fiance(e) (K-1), child of a fiance(e) (K-2), Spouse of a U.S. citizen (K-3), or child of K-3 (K-4), and received a medical examination prior to admission, then you do not require another medical examination as long as your application for adjustment of status (Form I-485) is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination. You will, however, be required to submit a vaccination supplement with our adjustment of status application. The vaccination supplement must be completed by a designated civil surgeon.

I paid $240 for the exam and all the vaccinations in Northern California. It was the cheapest doctor I could find. When I shopped around, I got quotes ranging from $240 to $960 (!!!).

According to the signature the OP is an F1 overstay that then married in the U.S.

A full medical will be required.

I paid $120 for the medical and all tests and $15 for all the vaccination shots as I had no evidence of vaccinations.... I am in Boston MA

I paid $15 for my appointment, because it was covered by insurance. I looked up all the civil surgeons in the area, and checked with my insurance company to make sure the physical was covered.

I already had proof of all vaccinations on file with my primary care physician, and since the civil surgeon was part of the same hospital system, they could easily access records.
