Refer to the example forms here on VJ for guidance. http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples

Domicile = where you live

Military - It's a yes or no answer. Leaving it blank will cause a delay when you are issued an RFE.

Household size - Do as the bolded heading states, on line 21 C only count a spouse not being sponsored with this affidavit. Your spouse is already counted on line 21 A

Preparer - Self explanatory. Only completed if form is prepared by someone other than the sponsor listed on line/question 1.

Current is present tense. What you are earning now, annualized.

Past year's income is only used for a self employed sponsor. In that case, line 22 of the most recent form 1040 tax return.

Correct. For example you could have earned a great income in 2011 but lost your job in May 2012. Today, your current income would be zero. On the other hand, you could have been unemployed all of 2011 and secured a great job in March 2012 paying X. Your current income is now X, not any number found on any tax return.

so i put "0"? im confused.

For current income, you put your current income. What is the correct answer?

I gave you examples that included one where zero would be the answer. Only if you lost your job and had zero income (as in the example given) would you enter zero.

You said you believe your income is sufficient. Answer with your current income. If you don't know how to calculate that, it's your current gross hourly times the number of hours per pay period, time number of pay periods per year.

For example, those earning $20 an hour working 80 hours in a two week pay period would multiply 20X80X26 for a total of $41,600 gross current annual income. If you have a "salary" then state the annual salary. If you are paid weekly, remember there are 52 weeks in a year not 4 X 12 = 48.

Follow-up question.

If a substantial part of the income is bonus/commission based, how would you fill that out correctly? Just note the salary part there, and get an employer letter explaining the bonus/commission structure?
