Ok, my case (NOA2 on 5/22 from CSC) is in NVC. They said NVC recieved it last monday 6/11 and not put in their system yet.

two questions:

1. do I try to give them email address for electronic correspondence now or wait for they put it in their system ?

2. I need to update beneficiary's address as she moved from the address in G325A and I130. Do I need to wait for case # or ask to update now ?

You can't give the operators any information until a case number has been assigned.

And you don't need to tell them the beneficiary's new address. That'll be on the DS-230.

As long as nothing is missing or incorrect, probably around a week. So, in your case, by the end of June ;)

You can if you want, but you need to keep in mind, NVC receives THOUSANDS of emails. It will take them time to get to yours. Just because I (or anyone else) says it takes a week for DS-3032 acceptance, doesn't mean you need to panic if a week passes and you don't hear anything. These time frames are heavily dependent on NVC's workload and how many emails are being sent to them per day.

Thanks! I will probably call them tonight when I reach home and check if they have any more information to share on the phone.

I agree, I have 3 set blank forms of DS-230 from my wife all signed already. & thank you for the answer.

@kingilbert: have you received any update about your DS-3032 email sent out last week?

1) After the case is completed at the NVC, do they send ALL the documents that I submitted (I-864, AOS, Joint Sponsor documents, etc/) to the US Embassy, in my case, Indonesia?

I'm asking because I wanted to resend these documents to my wife for her interview as evidence if needed.

2) Should I send her all the documents I submitted to the USCIS and NVC for the interview?

3) Will the Embassy possibly ask her for these documents?

2003 - met online

12-09-2010 - met for the first time

12-11-2010 - engaged

06-07-2011 - married

09-27-2011 - I-130 sent

09-29-2011 - NOA1

04-04-2012 - I-130 approved

05-14-2012 - NVC Case number received

06-26-2012 - Case completed

08-02-2012 - VISA APPROVED :)

1) Yes, they send everything you submitted at NVC as well as everything from USCIS.

2). Even though the embassy will have everything, it's still a good idea to have a copy of everything on hand at the interview, just in case. So, if you have copies of everything, send them to your wife and have her bring them to the interview.

3). No, probably not. But it's still good to have.

We sent the DS-3032 email June 8th, and received an automated response. Today when logging into the NVC payment portal, husband's (beneficiary's) information has disappeared. This is exactly what happened to my information last week, right before they invoiced me for the I-864. I'm guessing they are about to invoice us for the IV packet. We haven't yet received a DS-3032 acceptance email, but I am thinking we will get it today or tomorrow. So for you folks awaiting a DS-3032 response, I think they're getting to them in about a week or so, give or take a few days. Keeping fingers crossed here.

Hope you all hear good news today!
