today my fiance (he lives in us),recived a notice about request for more evidence.we were doing all with the lawyers help,so im curious what can be missed.also,im very scared and worried.have anybody the same problem? should i be scared from denied case?

First, welcome to VJ.

Second, you should update your profile and create a timeline. I'm sure you will be here quite often asking questions and that will help others help you.

Since your profile shows you are seeking a K1 visa, I'll assume the RFE came from the USCIS and is related to the I-129F petition.

The RFE could be for any number of issues...so there is no need to speculate at this point. Just wait until he recieves the RFE from the USCIS and fix the problem(s). It will add a few weeks to your wait, but probably not a big enough problem to cause a denial. DON'T WORRY!

Third, Dump the lawyer! As you can see, you already have an RFE, and I'm sure you're paying lots-O-money for their assistance. With the guides and personal assistance you can get for free at this site, unless your case is really complicated, you don't need a lawyer.

Fourth, Best wishes and Good Luck!

The most common RFE for K1 petitions seems to be more evidence of meeting in the last 2 years or a mistake on the petition itself

Please keep us posted but yes, no need for a laywer unless your case is unusually complicated

Good luck

You have a lawyer, they already made a mistake! You clearly don't need her. If you follow the guides her you will save money and hopefully heartache!

Wait for further information about the RFE, then if you have questions about what to do, hopefully VJ can help you figure out how to respond and safegaurd against any further RFE's.

Ridiculous in that you have a lawyer that did not check the application for completeness!

Glad to hear that it is something that is easy to remedy :)
