90 days? -My brain isn't getting it

Howdy doo, VJ!

I think I just massively misunderstood as to WHEN one needs to file their removal of conditions. My "anniversary" date on my card is September 30th---I think (or thought) that that means I need to file AFTER May 30th---ie within the 90 days BEFORE the anniversary date.

Am I right? Wrong? I'm not usually so braindead on things, but for some reason the wording really is really not processing in my head-heh. Any and all 2 cents (or more!) is super appreciated!

You can file within 90 days period from your expiration date. If your expiration date is September, 30th, then you can file anytime after July, 2nd which would be a 90 days till Septemeber 30th.

If it expires Sept 30, your window opens on July 2. That is 90 days before the expiration date on your card. You can send in your paperwork anywhere from July 2 to Sept 30.

This is a handy tool for calculating dates. If you apply for N-400 you can use this too. :)
