Il mio fidanzato avra' la visita medica domani mattina a Napoli e l'intervista avra' martedi. Siamo molto nervosi (!!!!!) ma speriamo che tutti gli operai del consulato saranno molto simpatici e amichevoli perche abbia vinto Italia! :P Lui c'e' a Napoli stasera e ha visto la partita in albergo. Quando l'ho chiamato ho potuto sentire IL CASINO che stava succedendo fuori mentre tutti stavano celebrando la vittoria! :yes:

Grazie! Grazie! I'm trying to stay calm and focus on other things. I went to the museum today, read a little bit, cooked dinner, but I can't shake the worrying! I know I won't be at ease til Tuesday evening when I know what's going on.

Neither of us expected Naples to be SO HUGE as it apparantly is -- he did a "dry-run" walk down to Piazza Repubblica so he would know exactly where it is and it's like a 40 minute walk away! Damn! On the map the hotel seemed SO CLOSE lol.

CAMPIONI DEL MONDO!!! :dance::dance: ) and they are usually not very mean or demanding at all even when there is no soccer involved. :lol:

Oh e complimenti per il tuo splendido italiano!!! Where in NY do you live? We live in the DC aread but we often go visit because I have an uncle who lives in Bellmore, Long Island. I totally adore NYC!!!!

OK I'd better go to sleep...sooo much excitement today...the only bitter part is to be all the way here and miss all the celebration...but hey, what matters is that we won!!! :dance::dance:

I'm so excited and my marito is, too!! WOW!! We put our Italian flag outside yesterday! I will have to take a picture and post it here. I called home, too and heard all the honking and yelling, too. So wonderful to be

I am still so excited too...I still cannot believe it!!!!! I don't have an Italian flag here, we said times and times again that we should buy one...well we should have!! :P I tried to call my family for a long time yesterday, it was impossible! It's like for awhile all the lines from/to Italy were totally clogged...finally my mom was able to go through and she put the phone outside the window for me so I could hear part of the madness...aaahhh what an emotion!!! (L) I am waiting for emails with details tales of the celebrations...can't wait! :dance:

Okay, so my fiance' had his medical appointment! He got there at 8AM and was out by 1PM, which isn't so bad, considering that there were lots of people waiting today. They made him get two more vaccines and gave him the sealed envelope to bring tomorrow. They also told him that they might issue the visa right there while he waits, so... :D !!!! I hope so! Has that happened to anyone here (getting the visa issued immediately)?

Forza Italia!!!!!!!! Yeah, we won!!!!! That was a great game...I don't know much about soccer, but I really enjoyed it. We've had our flag up since the beginning of the world cup. Our neighbor had his Brazilian flag up...and had to take it down!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

:lol: In Milan they did...but they are all in a coma because no one slept at all last night!! BTW what sucks is that there were some deaths during the celebrations that kinda spoiled things a bit... :(

I went to Naples for my medical/interview (it was all in one day back then) a long time ago (april 2004), but they did issue the visa in my passport the very same day, I think all the others in here got it the same day as well but they will correct me if I am wrong. Let us know how it goes! (F)
