ON the USCIS website, they give an example of Domicile as registering children in school. If the children have not been granted a US Visa then how can they live here if you don't want to give up your residence in your home country until you have the visas? Does anyone understand my question?

That is typically for US citizen children. There are many other ways to prove US domicile. Not all will be possible for each individual.

I don't know about other states, but here in Arkansas, kids register in March for the following school year (which starts in August). So you could contact the school of your choice, assuming you know where you will be moving to, and register the kids.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
