for the USC you will check other and say I-130 being submitted for spouse

for the spouse you will check status as permenent resident

that is what I am doing.

Hope this helps!

but there is no question for the spouse to be checked.

or are you trying to say that i should check both 'Status as Permanent Resident' and 'Other'?

and write in other: I-130 being submitted for spouse?

Don't check both.....

We:

- checked "other" and entered SPOUSE I-130 as the reason on the USC G-325a

- checked "status as permanent resident" on the benefic. G-325a

So far no problems :)

you have to fill out 2 different G-325A's.

The one you fill out for the American Citizen would be the petitioner and you would check OTHER and notate I-130 for spouse.

The one for the beneficiary you would Check status as permanent resident.

You will need to send the I-130 and a total of TWO G325A's

So when you say that the Applicant refers to the petitioner, we're supposed to enter the same information on both G-325a's, which would be my USC husband's employment and addresses, not mine? I filled out my form thinking it was my addresses and employment that was being asked for. Looks like I need to fill it out again, and mail. Another week of waiting, but glad I found out before it was too late.

Oh, sorry, I guess I could reply since I do know this one. For future reference, it's always best if you start a new thread if you have a question pertaining to yourself.

Most beneficiaries/applicants don't have either a social sec number or Alien number, so you put N/A (or none, just don't leave blank).

One G325A for USC & one G325A for spouse (intending immigrant). If you are filling the form for you, you put your info. He puts his info on his. Don't put his addresses/employer/SS# info on yours or vice versa.

We put his name on his, and my name on mine. Filled it out accordingly. Your info on yours, his info on his.
