Card/ Document Production

On May 10, 2012 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application

What receipt number did you use? Each application has a different number. I bet it is your EAD.

I USE MY RECEIPT NUMBER FROM I 485

so if I understand u correctly - u were mailed a notice for an interview for june? (I485)

and now the online status for the same(I485) is saying card production?

if this is the case there could be a mistake perhaps ..

did u file for I765 ?

if u have then maybe its the I765 that is under card production but dont know why it would be under I485

maybe u can contact the 800 # or just wait to see what arrives in the mail :star:

Good Luck

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

May 03rd - notified of interview (06/13/2012)

May 06th - received interview letter in mail

May 11th - received notification of EAD card in production

May 19th - EAD in hand

May 23rd - Applied for SSC

May 29th - Received social security card in mail (card in hand)

June 13th - Interview (approved on the spot)

June 13th - got notification of approval

June 18th - Card in production (also received welcome letter in mail)

End of this journey....

See you all in the Naturalization forums

yes and i got my work permit too

It seems there has a been mistake somewhere then. All you can do is contact the USCIS by phone and speak to a Tier 2 officer, or make an infopass appointment and go in person to ask about the mix up.
