Hello! i was once green card holder. due to some unavoidable circumstances i couldn't return to america for more than many years. now i want to go back to U.S. My father is U.S citizen and he lives in america. can he apply for my immigration again?? im 33 years old male. is there any way or hope?? looking forward to your suggestions. thank you

If the circumstances were truly unavoidable, you can try for a SB-1 Returning Resident visa. You'd need to have very good reasons though, such as unable to travel due to illness.

Otherwise- yes, your dad can petition you, but it will take 7 years if you are unmarried, or ten if married.

Even if you file for a SB-1,you will probably go into AP. Neither situation will happen fast. You have been back in Pak for over 2 years.

Did your father naturalize or is he a US citizen by birth? If by naturalization, how old were you when he became a US citizen?

He naturalized. I was 30 when he became citizen. What is AP? Seems like there is no way i can go back again :-(
