I am wondering if anyone here has had any luck calling to request a status update on their NOA2? I see that the average time frame for similar ones than mine are just under 90 days from NOA1 to NOA2. I am nervous as mine is now over 105 days from NOA1 and no response, no RFE, no NADA! The wait is horrible. I know once the NOA2 comes in the process goes a lot quicker...just hoping to receive that soon. I'd appreciate your comments.

Thank you

Until they start working on your case, there really is not much of anything to update on. The reason these things take so long is because it takes them 3 - 4 months to even start working on your petition.

Use igor's list on here for all it's worth. It'll give you an idea on what dates they're working on.

As everyone else have already said, it usually takes 4 to 6 months to get approved (NOA2). It might sound like B S, but try and have a litle patience and not think too much about it. Believe it or not, I find strengh and comfort on the posts of those that have been waiting longer than me and are still trying to hold the line.

I hope you get yours soon. It only means that they are working faster and we'll all get ours sooner.

We filed in Vermont dec7 so we are 1 week past 5 months.

The wait is awful especially as the petitions around us on the same day were dealt with weeks ago I am getting frustrated and thinking they have a problem with our paperwork .

My fiance called them but they didn't tell us anything.

i am getting so impatient the past days..but my husband is always there to cheer me up and reminds me how lucky we are to have found each other.. being apart for months doesn't compare to a lifetime we will have very soon.. so for everyone who's still waiting, it sucks big time but there's no easy way but to wait..

I was doing the same to my wife until last night to keep her in positive frame of mind and everything will be alright. I know it's easy to say now. One thing I must say is that, there is some negativity out here on VJ where you will see people complaining about their issues without revealing details about what is different in their case. If your case is straight forward (1st marriage, your petitioner is lawful USA Citizen, no criminal or FBI records, no DUI records etc.) and have submitted all documents appropriately then you should be fine. Just wait for CSC officer to pull out your application to do their job.

You will also have your NOA2 soon. Good luck!
