After more than 2 weeks I finally got my NAO receipt for I-485,I-131 and I-765,wohoooo!!! :dance: :dance:

Was just wondering is it usual for the I-485 to say on the USCIS website:Acceptance but the I-131 and I-765 to say: Initial Review???

This is normal. I have the same status on the USCIS website.

How long did it took after bio?I am asking because my appoiment was for 6/6 but we decided to do a walk-in on 5/24( succefully) and we haven't seen any update in our status,.. Congrats hopefully status change sometime this week!

Hi,I did my Bio on May 23rd. So 12 days later I got approved.

1) Pay the fee.

2) Borrow the money to pay the fee.

3) Wait for the I-130 to be approved and then file the I-485.

I don't understand any more the I 824 says it is only good for duplicate of accepting case and not pending cases, my is still pending???

I posted earlier that my wife's biometric appointment letter had arrived, and it is scheduled for June 14 (next Thursday). Unfortunately, I'm scheduled for a business trip next week, and can't reschedule.

Today I went to InfoPass and scheduled an appointment for her for this coming Friday morning. I'm hoping the office (Charleston, SC) will allow her to go ahead and do her biometric stuff early, especially since we actually made an appointment. I really wanted to be there with her when she goes. My Dad is standing by to take her next week if we are refused this week, but I hope it won't be necessary.

I'll update you guys with what happens Friday.

By the way, I have been trying to maintain my timeline, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to add the I-130 into it. I've got I-485, I-131, and I-765, but just can't figure out how to add the I-130. Anyone got a suggestion here?

Just got off the phone with the National Benefits Center, and after being transferred around a couple of times, I finally had an officer say "Sorry, I don't see any RFE in your file. Obviously I believe you because you are reading it to me now, but I can't help you." Then she recommended an immigration attorney. So I will need to think about my options. :/

Unless by training you mean taught how to read a script like the operator at your local bank help-line number, then no. The entry level people that you speak to are generally a waste of time and space and are informally known as the "mis-information line"

If you received a physical RFE in the mail, then it will have the exact information that you need to submit that you were missing. I would find it hard to believe that a mistake as been made if a physical notice has been sent.

I know that if you are showing property as an asset to cover the 125% guideline, then the general rule is that it the asset(s) must be easily turned into liquidity within 12 months *and* by liquidizing an asset, it can cause no hardship on the sponsor.

This is pretty hard to do if you are using your house as an asset since they are usually not easy to sell and if sold, they generally leave the sponsor homeless. Not sure if you have multiple properties?

Hey,

So finally I resubmitted the all case with a big letter explaining that I have a pending I 130, copy of my case status on line and copy of my all I 130 package,I hope this time they will take it.

They advise me to do like that at the info pass and when I called USCIS this morning.

Now the wait is back on.
