Received this today by email & text----On July 3, 2012, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

Wondering if this is a good thing

It means your process is following its normal course and has been transferred to the California Service Center (CSC). Initially this was meant to speed up processing but the CSC is backed up right now (they seem to be the only one processing K1-AOS).

Day_01 05/05 AOS Package delivered (I-130,I-485,I-765).

Day_31 06/05 Biometrics done.

Day_46 06/20 Interview Notification

Day_79 07/23 Interview. Approved.

Day_86 07/30 Received GC and EAD

And they're taking holiday tomorrow, more of a slow down :(

Well, one holiday is just a drop in the glass, it seems the AOS from K1 is taking around six months. You should get your EAD soon though.

I had my biometrics done on 5/22 as a walk in (original date 6/06) called FBI next day and was advised that they were cleared and sent back to USCIS the same day but no updates yet. I'm hoping to see some progress soon though.

How or where did you get the number to call?

I haven't been online for a while and was just reading all the posts :)

I had my biometrics on the 20th of June and I also got a letter saying, that my case was transfered to CSC.

They can take their time with my Green Card...I really want to get my EAD and AP!!!

Not working might be good for a few weeks but after a while it is just annoying :(

Good luck to all of us for a speedy process and

Thanks for the tip, didnt think about it...Do you know if the RFE will have any influence on how fast I will get my EAD/AP? I hope to be able to send the RFE response within two weeks but I really need the AP before september!

I am not sure if it will affect your EAD/AP. They are adjudicated saparately so hopefully it will only delay the GC processing. You can make a request to expedite your AP.

My timeline thus far:

- May 10th- Mailed package

- May 14th- Package received

- May 21st- Received NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 in the mail

- May 24th- Received Biometrics appointment in the mail for June 11th

- June 11th- Biometrics appointment

- June 28th- Received interview appointment for July 31st

My EAD still hasn't been confirmed, but I'm hoping I'll get my card in the mail soon. I heard that you need your SS# for the interview, and I can't get mine until I have my work permit. Will there be a problem if I can't get it before the interview? I know that it takes about 2 weeks for your SS# to arrive after you file to get it, and my interview is in 3 weeks, so my work permit needs to get here within the next week!

My timeline thus far:
AOS (2012):
- May 10th- Mailed package
- May 14th- Package received
- May 17th- NOA1 for I-130, I-485 and I-76
- May 21st- Received NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 in the mail
- May 24th- Received Biometrics appointment in the mail for June 11th
- June 11th- Biometrics appointment
- June 28th- Received interview appointment for July 31st
- July 21st- EAD card production notice
- July 30th- Received EAD card in the mail
- July 31st- AOS interview (approved)
- August 6th- Applied for SSN
- August 9th- Received GC in the mail!! :D
- August 11th- Received SSN card

ROC (2014):

-June 27th- Mailed I-751 (Signature confirmation confirmed the date)

-June 30th- Receipt date for NOA
