A year ago today, I mailed off the I-129F Fiancee Visa Petition package and began the process to bring my fiancee back to the US. It was a long and stressful journey, but looking back now, it doesn't seem so bad. Little did I know that 5 months later, she would be approved for the visa and 6 months later, we would be together again here. We have now been happily married for a little over 5 months and are preparing to move into a new house together. It seems like the last few months have been overwhelming in that we've been needing to get something signed, stamped, certified, approved, etc.; but at least my love is here so that we can take care of these things together. For all who are just beginning this journey now, I know how you feel and I hope that you too will reflect back on your journey a year from now and find that the stress you are experiencing now is just a fleeting memory.
