I'm just thrilled! I am AoS-ing from F1, and just today (on day 38!) received the I-797C to let me and my husband know our interview is May 29 in Buffalo, NY!!!

I posted a few weeks ago asking if my early biometrics might speed things up... consensus was that it wouldn't, and I fully understood and accepted the reasoning... but boy this case is certainly moving fast! Yay!

Good luck to everyone else out there...

Irene

FYI. No RFE, no official word on the I-765, and also, NO "touches" or any updates at all in the online system since our packet was accepted...

Mine was very fast too. Package mailed to Chicago lockbox on Feb 10th. Interview this afternoon. (see sig)

We did our biometrics very quickly as a walk-in- so perhaps getting biometrics done early improves your chances of getting a quick interview...

My wife got her permission to work card, but hasn't received anything on permission to travel.

Captal, check her EAD. Does it say "Serves as 512L Advance Parole?" That is her travel permission right there.

I believe it does. To be honest we haven't looked at it closely since the interview date came so quickly. We're bringing it with us to the interview, of course (I have a stack of documents a few inches thick!)
