CASE AND IIN NUMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Questions...

When you filled out the DS-3032, did you put ALL your information for the kid's contact information? Where you are supposed to put their address, did you just put yours? Where it says, "if you have any questions you can contact me at..." did you just put your phone number?!?!?

I am definitely only giving my email address, but don't know if I should put any of their nigerian contact info on the email?

Help please!!!

What do you ladies think will happen if my daughter applies for a visitors visa? Will it be an automatic decline since shes in the system?

I think with minors it can be pretty unpredictable whether they will be approved for a visit visa in general - it's hard to say what will happen since she has an immigrant visa in process. For an adult it can be difficult but not impossible to get a visit visa under those circumstances. It won't hurt anything to have her apply, so long as you don't mind potentially losing the time and money. A visit visa denial will have no effect on her current application.

12 days to interview getting anxious!

You're going to do great!

was talking to a friend who filed for her husband and she was talking about the A Number that was on her husband's NOA2. I had no idea there were A Numbers on the NOA2, as my boys did not get A numbers. Did any of y'all's kids get A Numbers?!?!?

I just looked at their NOA2s and I didn't see an A number. It will for sure be on their greencards and I'm pretty sure on their visas as well.

Yes, I used my address/information in the States as I was electing to be their agents and their father signed it. In other words we want all the correspondence sent to me in the U.S., not to the kids in the Philippines, so we put our address. I did put my phone number as a contact and my email.

And congrats on the case numbers! I'm doing a happy dance for you!

Our visas were approved and issued so we are finalizing our plans to get the kids here. Final hurdle!

To answer your question you will need separate I-864 forms for each child.

Congratulations Beejay that's awesome! :]

No visa for me though, I didn't get my visa today, they told me my case is going to be under administrative process, so I guess I'm going to have to wait some more time

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!! Congratulations for surviving the process and I can only imagine how happy you are!

I have a quick question for you (I skimmed this thread but there are more than 650 posts - sorry if you have talked about this!) - you applied in early March of last year and are just now getting the approval, so about 10 months total. Do you think that is the normal processing time now? Or did your case take longer for some reason? I am trying to estimate how long this process will take, and I had told his family about 5 months, but maybe 5 months is the average for only the USCIS part? Ugh. We are going to miss another summer if this takes more than 8 months. I tried to time it so he could start school at the beginning of a school year. Oh well. Nothing I can do now except make sure I have everything ready to go as soon as we get the first approval.

Our petition was sent to the MSC for some reason. At least it is finally "in the system" and I can check for status updates (the notifications didn't work for most of our previous applications).
