I haven't flown Delta in a very long time. Last time I remember flying with them was maybe 8 years ago when I was 16 or so and I don't remember much. They got a flight I really like so that's why I am considering them. Usually I fly JetBlue.

I usually fly Delta... No complaints... But if your leaving USA to fly internationally, try to book it through KLM. I have saved as much as 30% on the exact same flight (round trip to Moscow), and you are still flying with Delta.

klm royal dutch airlines is what i use each time i fly to ukraine they are the quickest and with only one stop can not beat it the price is better then delta however if you see many flights in future sign up with delta skymiles club and have klm log your airmiles with delta as you get rewards quicker fyi klm is handled by delta in usa after buy ticket try talk with klm rep as delta has limited info on klm rules it took me 2 weeks get delta on track with klm rules in the end i won even got email from delta tell sorry and gave 3000 extra bonus miles also klm serve good food ;)

What is KLM?

KLM is Royal Dutch Airlines that uses other carriers for some of its flight including Delta.

I don't think that airline applies to me as I am flying to Dominican Republic (caribbean)

I have flown with them many times (Economy)...cheaper than BA or AA, and it still gets you there. Even though some of their planes are outdated (they still used overhead TV's!!! Pain for you neck!), nevertheless the staff are very friendly and you can always count on their free alcohol to get you through the day.

My record is 9 glasses of wine....hey flying ain't cheap, need to get the most of it! :lol:

Good point. When I flew to the Philippines this past January, the overhead TV was a pain. That was the only issue I had. They flight was one stop, the price was good and the service was decent.

I went to a job interview earlier this year and they flew me on Delta.

The outbound flight was terrible. It left over an hour late because the previous Delta flight refused to push off. I missed my connection and was stuck for five hours in Memphis.

The return flight was terrible. The airplane that was to take me to Atlanta was delayed over an hour in Atlanta. I would have missed my connection. They routed me instead through Mpls. That flight arrived late and I barely caught my connection. They closed the door right after I ran in.

All in all, my arrivals were delayed 8 hours in the domestic round trip. All delays were due to mechanical problems.

For international flights, I've had no trouble with Delta. (Well, there was that time when they pushed off from my point of departure, so they could claim a bogus on-time departure, but wouldn't take off because of a ground halt in Atlanta due to a hurricane. I had to fight to get re-routed onto an American flight so that I wouldn't miss my international connections. That was back in '03 or '04, though.) For domestic flights, they have been terrible for a few years now.
